TCA: Ken Burns Thinks 'Boardwalk' Is Going To Be "Huge Hit": "People in america Like To Watch Individuals Who Reach Kill Individuals Who Piss Them Off"

The panel session closing out PBS' two-day rollout at TCA -- for Ken Burns' latest historic overview,Prohibition -- was particularly both preceded with a beer-and-wine dinner and then a party. The elfin but always eloquent Burns accepted throughout the session he got in the spirit from the TCA event by getting his first drink in "a relatively good time." But he experienced no effects from his alcohol when requested his ideas about the Cinemax series Boardwalk Empire that deals fictitiously using the same subject material as his documentary that's scheduled to premiere on March. 2, 3 and 4. Also it works out he's keen on the drama that's created simply by Martin Scorsese. "(Cinemax) has another huge hit on the hands within the mode from the Sopranos," Burns stated, "and they are not too different.
